Chronology of cameras Yashica
Alongside the early T models, Yashica introduced this small, simple, practical, and well-designed compact camera.
From a technical standpoint, it sits between manual compact cameras and fully electronic ones. Although equipped with autofocus, film advance and rewind are still manual. However, when loading a new film, the camera automatically advances the film to the first frame.
The shutter is locked if there isn't sufficient light when the shutter button is pressed. When the lens cover (sliding) is opened, a green LED in the viewfinder indicates that the light meter is operational. A red flash indicates that the flash needs to be raised from its compartment. Exposure control is entirely automatic.
Like many Japanese compact cameras, the Partner AF is available with a date back.
This is the date version of the Partner AF. The date imprinting function is powered by a CR2025 battery in the rear door. The Partner AF is fully automatic; in low ight it will not operate without the flash, because it has no slow shutter speeds.
